Systems Engineer - Full-Time Role

About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering activities across the full development lifecycle for complex aircraft simulator systems. In this role, you will define subsystem designs, develop system architecture models, and assess technical requirements. You will collaborate with cross-discipline engineers to resolve integration challenges and ensure system performance meets mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct systems engineering across the full system development lifecycle
• Research and define subsystem designs and requirements
• Build system diagrams and develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• Assess and document hardware and software requirements
• Develop and maintain system architecture using modeling tools
• Conduct comprehensive requirements analysis and traceability assessments
• Perform risk assessments and mitigation planning
• Define system integration strategies and test approaches
• Participate in test planning and system validation activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve design and integration issues
• Coordinate network architecture setup and device configuration
• Support system-level validation and performance testing
• Maintain system documentation and technical records

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional systems engineering experience
• Demonstrated expertise in complex system design and integration
• Experience with aircraft simulator systems or defense platforms preferred
• Relevant certifications (ASEP, CSEP, or equivalent preferred)

• Clearance: DoD Secret preferred
