Senior System Administrator

Salary: $140,000 – $180,000

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Skilled System Administrators to support implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance of IT systems in government environment, managing infrastructure, providing Tier 1/Tier 2 support, ensuring performance/reliability. Starting salary based on minimum education/experience. Interested candidates submit resume.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support implementation/troubleshooting/maintenance of IT systems
• Manage daily IT operations/system configuration
• Provide Tier 1 Help Desk/Tier 2 escalation support
• Assist users with IT access/usage
• Monitor/resolve issues for client/server/storage/network/mobile devices
• Escalate issues/communicate status to stakeholders
• Perform system optimization/capacity analysis/resource planning
• Configure/manage UNIX/Windows OS
• Install software/configure network components
• Provide detailed analysis/feedback on escalated tickets
• Support dispatch/hardware resolution
• Support systems/mission architecture/hardware design
• Demonstrate SOA interdependencies understanding
• Analyze/resolve complex server hardware/applications/software issues

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficiency UNIX/Windows operating systems
• Strong troubleshooting IT systems

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 15 years experience as System Administrator on similar programs
• Bachelor’s degree technical discipline (5 additional SA years substitute)

CLEARANCE & LOCATION

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with FS Polygraph
• Work Location: San Antonio, Texas
• Employment: Full Time
