Software Defined Radio Engineer
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $86,800 to $198,000 annually
ABOUT THIS ROLE
You lead development across the full lifecycle of hardware and software systems focused on Software Defined Radios and RF engineering. You translate mission needs into technical specifications and guide delivery of integrated RF solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead system development from requirements through operations and retirement
- Drive SDR and RF engineering efforts across hardware and software integration
- Apply signal processing and RF engineering to SDR applications
- Use SDR tools and frameworks such as GNU Radio and USRP platforms
- Conduct RF design, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Integrate RF systems including backhaul and transport technologies
- Present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor team members and support cross-functional execution
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Signal processing and RF engineering
- SDR application development
- GNU Radio, USRP hardware, and SDR frameworks
- RF design and test tools
- C++, Python, or VHDL
- Antenna theory and propagation models
- Complex RF system troubleshooting
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience in signal processing, RF engineering, and programming
- 3+ years of SDR application experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree preferred

- Clearance: TS SCI
- Work Model: Onsite, Hybrid, or Remote based on role listing and mission needs
- Employment: Full-Time
- U.S. Citizenship Required
