Senior Unified Communications Engineer/Architect

Location: Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), Washington, DC area

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Defines/optimizes Cisco-heavy UC architectures at JBAB secure site. Ensures health/security, leads designs/monitoring/troubleshooting, analyzes call flows, develops specs/plans/docs, complies with DoD IA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain UC health/security posture.
• Collaborate on IT strategies/arch evolution.
• Design/implement/monitor/troubleshoot networks/UC.
• Optimize call flows (network/firewalls/VPN/Cloud).
• Develop specs/arch/integration/test plans/docs.
• Security assessments/mitigations/DoD compliance.
• Manage UC infra (endpoints/servers/gateways/etc.).
• Scale automation for deployments.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Enterprise IT tech/arch knowledge.
• CCIE Voice/Unified Communications.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 8 years relevant.

• Clearance: TS/SCI
• Work Location: JBAB (M-F commute)
• Employment: Full Time
