POSITION OVERVIEW
Senior Accounting Specialist
ABOUT THIS ROLE
This role supports senior accounting staff by assisting with federal and DoD accounting activities and financial reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist senior accountants with federal accounting functions
- Compile and analyze financial datasets using Microsoft Office tools
- Support USSGL, OMB A-136, TFM, and DoD FMR compliance
- Support federal financial statement and agency report preparation
- Support DoD property and budgetary accounting activities
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Federal Accounting Support
- Microsoft Excel
- Financial Data Analysis
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Accounting degree
- Minimum five years federal accounting experience
- Minimum two years DoD accounting experience
- CPA preferred
CLEARANCE & LOCATION
