Ground Operations Floor Transition Lead

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Salary: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 annually

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Lead transition of space systems from acquisition to operations for U.S. Space Force missions. Coordinate stakeholders, integrate operational needs, and support fielding and operational acceptance of strategic satellite communications capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transition space systems from acquisitions to operations within USSF
• Coordinate stakeholders and manage stakeholder requirements on complex projects
• Lead teams of contractors, government agencies, acquisition, and operations personnel to deliver warfighter capability
• Integrate programmatic and customer needs to support fielding and operational acceptance
• Coordinate with USSF operational stakeholders and operational units on needs for operations, training, sustainment facilities, and mission execution
• Support delivery and deployment of next-generation strategic military satellite communications capabilities

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience with systems engineering, acquisition, or operations in DoD space systems
• Experience transitioning space systems to operations within USSF
• Strong stakeholder coordination and requirements management skills
• Ability to lead cross-organization teams delivering operational capability

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 15+ years of experience performing systems engineering, acquisition, or operations in DoD space systems
• Bachelor’s degree

• Clearance: TS/SCI
