Cloud Operations Engineer

Employment Type: Full-Time

Clearance Level: TS/SCI

ABOUT THIS ROLE

You support complex, mission-critical cloud and C5 initiatives. You lead solution architecture, resolve advanced technical challenges, and guide teams through delivery and sustainment of new capabilities. You operate with autonomy, mentor technical staff, and apply advanced concepts across cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and lead solution architecture for complex C5 programs
• Perform requirements analysis and translate mission needs into technical solutions
• Resolve high-impact technical issues across cloud and integrated systems
• Apply advanced principles in AI, machine learning, big data, and cybersecurity
• Lead and supervise teams delivering and sustaining operational capabilities
• Provide technical mentorship and oversight to engineers and project staff
• Coordinate project execution with minimal oversight
• Support innovation and adoption of new technical concepts and methods

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience managing C5 projects across cloud computing, AI, machine learning, mobile IT, biometrics, virtual networking, and cybersecurity
• Experience leading technical teams delivering operational capabilities
• Strong understanding of complex system integration and deployment
• Ability to operate independently and make unreviewed technical decisions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 4+ years of experience managing C5 technical projects
• 3+ years of experience leading teams on C5 programs
• High School diploma or GED
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or related technical field preferred
• Agile certification preferred, including Scrum Alliance, PMI, or ICAgile
